Re-sharpening - Re-grind OD and ENDS. Restore tools with chips and standard tool wear.

Modifications - Add serrations, radius, make ball end, neck back, reduce cutting diameter, reduce shank diameter, cut offs.

Tool Service

Spiral Designs has a complete service facility for all CNC machine tools, offering a QUICK TURNAROUND on Solid Carbide and HSS tools. These tools are serviced on CNC machines or precision grinding machines to ensure exact tolerances and to restore tools to their original geometry. Each time a tool is serviced; Spiral Designs etches a notch on the shank of the tool to let you know how many times it has been re-sharpened. Quotes or contract pricing for volume discounts are available upon request.

Recycle Credit Program

Spiral Designs is pleased to announce a new initiative to create efficiency and encourage the recycling of Tungsten. Thousands of customers that use cutting tools have boxes, buckets, and barrels of used solid carbide consisting of end mills, insert knives, and drills. Every new pound of carbide scrap will entitle the customer to a $1.00 CREDIT toward their invoice. This program is for solid Tungsten Carbide scrap only. High speed steel and brazed tools must be sorted, to avoid sorting charges. All tools are eligible as long as they are SOLID CARBIDE. Spiral Designs does not use reclaimed materials for their own products. Recycled Tungsten is used in a variety of industries, such as oil and natural gas drilling, road construction, and mining. Importantly, every reclaimed pound of Tungsten is one that is not mined from the Earth.
